Crémant de Bourgogne | Vitteaut Alberti Blanc de Blanc
The Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc de Blancs from Vitteaut Alberti consists of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Aligoté, with grapes from the Côte Chalonnaise and the Hautes Côtes de Beaune. Vinification takes place with temperature control, and the wine then ages in the bottle for 16-18 months. The bouquet is subtle and offers aromas of citrus and flowers, while the taste brings together liveliness and finesse with notes of citrus, pear, and mineral freshness. The elegant and long aftertaste has a hint of honey and toasted bread. This Crémant is best enjoyed at 8-10°C and is ideal as an aperitif or with seafood, shellfish and sushi.
The winery: Vitteaut Alberti
In 1951, the Vitteaut Alberti winery was founded in Rully, the heart of Burgundian sparkling wine, by Lucien Vitteaut and his wife Alberti. Three generations later, the family still specializes in Crémants de Bourgogne, made according to the traditional Champagne method, and sourced from their 23 hectares of vineyard in the top regions of the Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise.
